South End of Long Meadow, Long Meadow Grove

The large tree at the south end of Redwood Meadow in Long Meadow Grove is 18.9 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, a DBH of 16.6' and a 231.5 foot height. It is not a huge tree; however, it has a large base. This tree was undamaged in any of the recent fires that damaged nearby areas, probably because it grows right next to the stream feeding into Redwood Meadow, a very wet area.
