#110 Duff Mound Tree, Long Meadow Grove

The Duff Mound Tree is one of the largest on the Trail of 100 Giants, despite its diminutive name (taken from the trail guide). It is 24.5 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, has a DBH of 21.2 feet, and is 231 feet tall. The mound of piled debris upon which it stands has shrunk slightly from the Windy Fire passing through; however, it still sits a bit above the surrounding ground level. The tree's center bole is broken off at about 165 feet height but is still approximately 10 feet in diameter at that height.
