Landslide Grove is home to a couple trees over 25k and one just under. It is a small grove approx a half mile long along a creek and of about a hundred acres. it has a lot of small groupings of mature trees. It is easy to get to via a 2 mile walk on a dirt road from ten mile road on the lower side or from the upper on the dirt road off of quail flats, 5 corners. In 2024 the grove was cleared of deadwood especially in rings around the big trees so it allowed for abundantly clear views of the sequoias.
Below is the Burly Giant, the largest tree there, which is to be found in the upper part of the grove.
The Second-largest tree in the Grove is the Landslide Giant below.
Below are pics of the first outliers that you come across when you walk in to the grove from the bottom, then two pics of my favorite tree group in the grove. It was a very picturesque group of eight in the lower section of the grove. The second row of pictures is a tree with a small opening in the base to a hollow interior that would make a perfect cabin, and a couple pics of the third larges tree in the grove, a particularly beautiful one I call the Landslide Verdure because of it.
