The Above Patriarch Tree was 21.6 feet in diameter level at the high side ground and not very tall at just 200 feet of height; however, it retained its bulk well up its bole with greater than 11 feet in diameter remaining at the lofty height of 180 feet. If the base of the tree hadn't been burned nearly halfway through, it would have given the Patriarch Tree a run for its money as the largest in the area. It had a sizable lean uphill toward the burn. It died in the Castle Fire of 2020.
