Peyrone's Largest Tree is 18 feet in diameter at chest height, 74 feet in perimeter, and 209 feet tall. Its former reported volume was approx 28k; however, it sustained huge damage during the Windy Fire and is somewhat reduced from that. The remaining bole is tenuous at about a hundred feet up, as you can see in the pics below, and it's just a matter of time until the upper half breaks and falls. In the near future. I expect to see another subsequent reduction when the majority of the critically damaged top hamper falls and the tree becomes a hundred-foot-tall snag. It still shows some very green vegetation below the hundred-foot point, however, so it will likely remain a large living tree for many years after that.
