The Burnt to a Twist Tree is 23 feet in diameter level at the ground, 19.7 feet in diameter at breast height from the high side ground, and 208 feet tall. It has fire damage in the bole at about 70 feet up from a formerly dead limb burned away in its entirety a few years back. The burn cavity left behind a window in the trees center thru which you can see daylight. That and the trees natural twist in its bark makes the imagination think a weeding giant tried unsuccessfully to twist and burn the sequoias top half off.
