#38 Old Jobe, Mountain Home
Old Jobe tree is 24.5 feet in diameter at the ground, 22.3 feet diameter at chest height, and 181 feet tall. This tree was mentioned by Wendell Flint as being likely formerly one of the largest trees in the grove before it lost its top. It is still a large bole for its remaining length, but with small triangular new foliage leaders sprouting upwards. The southeast side of it shows a large burn up most of its height and it still amounts to a very large total volume.
