#93 Atwell Beast, Atwell Mill Grove
The Atwell Beast Tree is 28 feet in circumference, 25 feet in diameter level at high side ground, 19 feet diameter at chest height, and 223 feet tall. It has a single side which is horribly burned and dead from bottom to top, while the other sides are all in good condition and growing plenty of green foliage. I do appreciate a tree with a lot of character, and this one has a lot of it. As its is far from any trail I am lucky to have been able to view it. Below are pics of the tree from the good direction and its bad one.
