The Empire state Tree has the largest base at 84 feet circumference that has been measured in the north grove so far, it is 25.4 ft in diameter level at the high side ground, 20.7 feet diameter at chest height, and 258 feet tall. Although not as large as several of the biggest in the South Grove it is a champion in the North Grove since the Mother of the Forest and Discovery trees untimely demise for exhibition.
