#117 Opposite Perseverance, Black Mountain Grove
One of the half dozen largest sequoias in the grove, this tree is 24.1 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, 19.8 feet in diameter at chest height, and 253 feet tall. It was in the path of the fire that damaged the Black Mountain Beauty; however, it seems to have escaped almost undamaged. Its little T-Rex arm at the top makes me smile.
