#60 Sawtooth, Garfield Grove

The Sawtooth Tree is 21 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, 19.5 feet diameter at chest height, and 233 feet tall. It can be found on an old, no longer maintained trail in the barely accessible and very steep Garfield Grove. Few other sequoias are as impressive to see as this one.

The Sawtooth Tree fell prior to 2022 and is no longer anything beyond a stump unfortunately.  A truly magnificent tree once, it now lays horizontal fallen down the slope.
