The Rocky Base Tree in the diamond area of Atwell is 74.5 feet in circumference on the ground, 19 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, 16.7 feet in diameter at chest height, and 244 feet tall. It is growing out of a rocky area just upstream of the diamond. It has about a third of its base burned away and a blackened crease traveling about 50 feet up its side. The diamond tree area is another of those that has a number of large specimens and is an impressive one to wander around.
