The Near Ed by Ned Tree is 25 feet in diameter at the ground, 21 feet diameter at chest height, and 251 feet tall. Located on the Round Meadow Trail, it was measured in 1997 by Wendell Flint. It was named because of its proximity to two sequoias that have practically grown together, named Ed by Ned.
