The McKinley Groves Largest Tree is 18.2 feet in diameter at chest height, 77.75 feet in perimeter, and 266 feet tall. That is the tallest of the big ones in the grove, the second largest DBH & perimeter, and at just under 25k cubic feet, the largest volume tree in the grove. It sports the typical dead top spire of an old monarch and is located right on the short official trail thru the grove.
