Ladder Tree, Nelder Grove
The Ladder Tree in Nelder Grove is 23.6 feet in diameter at the ground, 20.7 feet diameter at chest height, and 219 feet tall. It has been broken off at about 188 feet high or it would be even larger. It looks like it took some damage in the railroad fire but it has a lot of greenery still on its top and could well have many more years of life if mother nature gives it the opportunity.
