Battered Giant, Giant Forest:
This tree has been the victim of more than its share of fire damage and it has also lost its upper half at some time in the past. It still has a decent amount foliage on its crown on one good side, but half of its bole is burned and black. Its remaining base is huge however. It is 23.8 feet in diameter level at the high side ground, 21 feet in diameter at chest height, and just 136.5 feet of height. If it was complete and undamaged it would be of very great volume indeed, another champion in a grove full of champion trees.
